Nexus Zanzibar offers specialized consultancy services to both public and private health entities seeking to maximize their optimize their operations.

Our robust Capacity Building framework centers on two mutually reinforcing streams: pre-service training, where we integrate practical capacity building programmes into the curriculum for future workforce, and in-service training, which offers tailored short courses for current workforce to upskill the current workforce.

Nexus Zanzibar contributes to the global knowledge base by engaging in applied research. Our research arm focuses on assessing the impact and effectiveness of interventions deployed across Zanzibar, providing valuable, context-specific evidence, which allows us to publish findings that inform national policy and best practices. 

Nexus Zanzibar fosters a culture innovation. We provide a space for professionals, students, and local tech developers to collaborate on creating and testing contextually relevant innovations tailored specifically to the unique challenges of Zanzibar. Our hub activities include hosting hackathons, prototyping workshops, and proof-of-concept testing for new innovations.
